  Absolutely worst bank in All of LA beyond unhelpful and long lines !!!!

  Here's a new problem with this bank. Again, I have been a customer of this bank for over 25 years. The prior vice president, Nahid Yamini, was a gem. If I ever I was overdrawn on an account, she would give me a courtesy call and allow me 24 hours to bring the account current. Now that she is gone, I am not getting the same courtesy. Instead of making a call about any overdrafts, they automatically return the check. The customer service here is HORRIBLE. Regardless of how long you have been banking there, they do not have common courtesy. This is the last straw. I an my colleagues who have been banking there for the last 25 years are now going to move all of our accounts to another bank. I have been banking at East West Bank for over 25!years. The service was fantastic and Nahid, the VP and branch manager would always make sure that my transactions ran smoothly and my deposits would always be available immediately for my business. Sara, the assistant manager, was also terrific and helpful. HOWEVER, as of last week, Nahid retired and Sara has left. The new manager now has placed a hold on a $10,000 deposit, not allowing me to access my money for 8 days! Before the regime change, I would get instant credit on deposits as much as $100,000. For 25 years, I NEVER had a deposit returned for insufficient funds. And now my hands are tied because a new manager failed to taken time to review who the customers are. DONT PUT YOUR MONEY IN THIS BANK. There are others that are more accommodating, especially to customers with multiple decade relationships.
