- RVRa ViDec 13, 20251.0VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE I went to the SAFE Credit Union branch in Elk Grove to open a new account. I was told they “cannot help me” because they were booked for the whole day. No offer to schedule an appointment. No help at all. What made it worse is that I clearly saw two employees standing around just turning people away, and a few others sitting in the back doing nothing. Opening an account should not be this difficult or time-consuming. I also asked about safe deposit boxes, and the response was basically, “We’re usually full.” That was it. No explanation, no alternatives, no effort to help. This felt like a branch that simply doesn’t want new customers. The attitude was rude and dismissive. If I could rate this place a negative ten, I would. Very disappointing experience. I would not recommend this branch to anyone expecting basic customer service.
