  Every time I visit this branch, I experience unacceptable treatment and a complete lack of assistance. This has happened repeatedly, and at this point, I am extremely disappointed and frustrated. At the beginning of the year, I opened an account and was clearly told I would receive a promotional gift. When I later came to the branch to follow up, Sammi incorrectly informed me that my account had been closed and that I was no longer eligible. My account was never closed. Instead of correcting the mistake or attempting to help, she refused any responsibility and made no effort to locate the gift I was rightfully entitled to. This behavior was completely unacceptable. Today, I returned to the branch to inquire about my safe deposit box. As a Citi Gold customer, I was repeatedly told the box is free, yet I was charged $40. When I asked Sammi for assistance, she dismissed me again and told me to call customer service, claiming she could not see my information. This is not only unhelpful—it is unprofessional. I am extremely angry and deeply dissatisfied. Every visit to this branch results in the same pattern: no assistance, misinformation, and rude treatment from Sammi. This level of service is far below the standard I expect from Citi, especially as a Citi Gold client. At this point, I do not feel comfortable returning to this branch, and I expect this issue to be addressed promptly.

  Update: After messaging through email, and asking for a branch manager, I kept being passed on to other customer service reps. who couldnt resolve the issue. Companies have a difficult time understanding that elderly clients still exist. And the help they need is face to face, with physical copies. The option left would be to cancel the account entirely. My aunt who is severely disabled and paralyzed from half her body went to contest charges on her account. She is elderly, speaks very little English, and can not work a phone on her own. The teller told her she needed to call customer service from home. We took her in personally because she needs a lot of help and we are not on her account to help her personally. You don't get this type of bad treatment at a Credit Union. Seeing how much help she needs, the teller should've called customer support having already identified her and knew what she needed. The charges have been happening between Citibank and Amazon. She does not have an email account to create an Amazon Prime account nor has the knowledge to work any devices to use Amazon. These charges have been going 4 months. At $16 each transaction, living off Social Security Disability, she is SEVERELY being taken advantage of.
