Went to this bank dressed in my Heavy Metal "battle vest" (you know - the denim vest with all the spikes studs, and rock band patches on it) sat in the waiting area and NO ONE asked if they could help me. Went back a few weeks latter in a 2 piece suit & tie (keep in mind I'm white, blond hair, blue eyes, 6'3', in good shape and can rock a suit). - EVERY BANKER came by to ask if I needed help with something. But in my jeans & denim vest, I was unworthy of their time.
