  Try a different Wells Fargo branch instead. Just had the most unpleasant experience at this branch. I came in today to renew a CD and open a savings account for my son. They, unfortunately would not help me because my identification still has my maiden name on it, while my bank account is under my married name. My question is, why did they allow me to change the name on the account to my married name in the first place, using the same ID that has my maiden name on it?? At the time when I changed the name on my account, the employee assured me that they could keep my maiden name on the profile, and that I would have no issues accessing the account which I've had for over 20 years. They even have a copy of the marriage certificate validating the maiden name matching my ID, yet they still refused to help me. Luckily, I was at least able to renew my CD over the phone with a representative who was able to verify my identify by asking me questions. Not sure why the branch could not do that in person

  Every time I come to this location they give me a hard time. They treat me like I'm there to do fraud or I'm lying about something. Today it was mayda the manager who refused to cash a check even after speaking to the account holder on the phone. She thought it was funny after spending over 20 min of my time, and told me I should try another location. I went right down the street and was in and out in less than 10 min. This lady needs to be reminded she ain't the owner of this bank. It's the customers and their money that keep that bank going. Not hers

  Entered branch to physically sign check before depositing in branch's exterior ATM. Teller was available so decided to utilize teller at window. After approximately 10-12 minutes of waiting, was told by teller that check from Mossy Honda of Lemon Grove was not valid. When teller was asked for her name, myself the customer was told sternly to exit the branch. Upon exiting, check was deposited into external ATM. Being a Wells Fargo account holder since 1999, this was definitely the worst customer service of a lifetime; enough to warrant BBB complaint.

  Tellers are efficient but forget about talking to a banker here. Will have you wait for over 30 minutes and let other people go before you.
