- DADmitry AMar 3, 20251.0After conducting thorough research on obtaining a large Home Equity Line of Credit (HELOC), I chose City National Bank in Downtown LA to process my loan application. The process was initiated by a senior loan officer who supposedly has years of experience. We began in November 2024, and as of today, March 2nd, I have no idea whether my loan is being processed or has been denied. The senior loan officer refuses to return my emails and calls. I have submitted all the required documents, yet there has been no sign of progress. He continuously apologizes and promises to call me back but never follows through. This bank, this branch, and this loan officer (whose name I am withholding) have been unprofessional and unresponsive. I strongly recommend considering other national banks—stay away from this one!
