- LNLuciana NgNov 15, 20251.0No one ever answers the phone in this branch. I also opened an account during a promotion for the Lunar New Year and I was supposed to receive a gift. It has been 2 years and they still can’t locate the gift. Very poor customer service. I’m considering closing all my accounts there now.

I had to add a beneficiary to all my accounts, and she was patiently doing that. I had to go to her numerous times because of the time limit for my appointments which took a lot longer. I recommend her for the bank's customer service, which is indeed superb. I would ask for her again! Ray C.
- GRGreg RoderickAug 11, 20182.0I find their customer service at this branch to be lacking. If you don't have a previous appointment, they tend to disregard your concern. I had a situation that I needed assistance with, and the Teller, said that "I needed to phone customer service", who then informed me that someone at the bank branch needed to address my issue. What a waste of time. To me, this is a direct reflection on how this branch manager handles the customer service. We have used the San Ramon and Hayward branches in the past, and they are more receptive to the customer and outwardly advocate for them. Too bad the Castro Valley branch doesn't make the same effort.
