- TCTimothy CApr 9, 20252.0Went in to deposit a $12 check from a recycling center from dumping an old refrigerator. The check was issued to “bearer” meaning anybody. The man with black glasses asked me “who is bearer?” He wouldn’t cash the $12 check because my name is not bearer! You’ve got to be kidding me! I called the recycling center and they legitimately couldn’t believe what I was saying. All checks over $10 are issued to bearer
