- LELiz EsquivelNov 3, 20255.0I recently changed Credit Unions to go with Patelco and I have had nothing less than five star assistance! I visited Bascom location today, Alex Mariscal assisted me. He was so kind and patient as I had more questions than a simple withdrawal. He never rushed in fact walked me through a new service where I could purchase gift cards right from my cell phone. Wonderful and perfect as I don’t like putting my debit card info on all places. I purchase an Amazon gift card and he went further to help load it on my Amazon account. I can’t say enough and my comforter has been ordered expected tomorrow! BRAVO, Thank You Patelco !!!

- TGTyler GApr 25, 20182.0I typically encounter enjoyable staff members here, but today I had to reset my online account (due to annoyingly difficult hours for their help line, but that's another story). I am accustomed to a lower level of customer courtesy and respect due to the large stamp on my forehead that reads "Millenial," (despite the fact that I am indeed a working professional), but only to a certain extent. First off, I waited approximately two minutes (with no line whatsoever) while the only clerk at the counter finished a personal phone call (I know so because she said "bye Mom." I'm all for family values, but there are lots of other times and places for that). The Filipino employee she referred me to was curt and hintingly condescending. She cut me off several times with unprofessional one-worded interjections. I asked for a printout of my statement, and she said to just print it out from my online account. I insisted she print it out then and there since I already had to make such an unpleasant trip. The only reason this is not a 1-star review is because I usually bank with a very friendly African-American gentleman at the counter. Unfortunately, today he was not working. Overall, nearly fed up with this FCU as a whole, but the experience at this branch was particularly irksome and review-worthy.
