  Horrible service!!! I went to this branch to cash a check written from a Wells Fargo business account. The teller, didnt get his name, younger guy with attitude, request 2nd form of ID, then tells me there's a $10 charge to cash the check. I don't use Wells Fargo, so I mention it seems crazy to have to pay 10 bucks to cash a check from the bank its written from. Oh well, whatever. Then he tells me he can't cash it. Why? He can't tell me, not my account. Says tell the account owner to review their account. Account owner is my sister and bro in law. I have sister on my phone, go back to teller and ask for a manager. Manuel "Manny" comes out, he knows about the check and what teller told me, I say this is the account owner, Manny says I can't talk to her on your phone. I suggested he call the cell number on the account then. Manny said, and this is his quote " were not cashing the check for you today". He said the check got rejected and the system won't allow it to be processed. Went to my sister's branch on Carmenita and Orangethorpe, 2 miles away. Joseph assisted. When trying to cash that check a message appears for the teller to verify with account owner - call acct owner and verify. There is nothing about can't cash the check, nothing about it being rejected. Manny and his crew of tellers are either completely inept at their job or just decide who they are going to assist and who they won't. I was out of the Carmenita and Orangethorpe branch in 10 minutes. Also, the teller was so pleasant, the whole vibe of that branch was so much better. If you must bank at Wells Fargo, I'd highly recommend skipping the Western and Orangethorpe location, head west on Orangethorpe about 2 miles to Carmenita, they know how to do their job, and they do it with kindness.

  The LEAST helpful customer service representatives imaginable. They are very condescending to their customers. They make stuff up to get out of helping customers. Just some advice, if you’re not satisfied with your career choice, change careers! It seems like everyone hates their jobs and hate their customers.

  I've been with Wells for over 15 years. I have checking, credit card, and used to have a mortgage with them. I will be closing all of my accounts. Their customer service line gets transferred now to the Philippines, and nobody there knows anything about banking....they read off a script or some kind of manual on how to respond to customer questions. If you ask to speak to a supervisor, they say no one is available. The service is just horrendous. Please be aware if you are considering banking with this bank.

  Hope you do not need anything other than an ATM! Bunch of people sitting around or hiding in the back rooms doing nothing but they demand you have an appointment. So sad what our banking system has come to and especially WFB who has created an unexpected new low by doing absolutely nothing.

  They work really hard to keep their customers happy. The new banker, I’m not sure what her name was, worked really hard to go through the very long, pre holiday weekend line and see who they can pull out for other services. I was in a rush and unfortunately needed a teller so I had to wait. (More of a personal time management issue rather than their fault). But they did great, kept the line moving and I appreciated it! The security guy is always super nice as well Tip to management: When the bank is super packed, opening a door might be nice. It gets a little stuffy
