If I had the option for NO stars, I would have selected ZERO! I have had a checking and savings account at this bank for over 20 years, never have I been treated in such a condescending way and with such disdain. The Vice President- Brian Altman treated me with such disrespect, I felt compelled to take the time to write a yelp review. His behavior was so shocking, I was dumbfounded. A Vice President that goes out of his way to NOT help resolve a simple problem???????? I was so appauled at his unethical behavior, and sheer lack of integrity, I had the bank stay open 2 hours after closing to close both my accounts. The worst Vice President I hope to ever encounter. His actions are shameful and down right discusting! He went out of his way to blatantly circumvent the banks accountability. I am filing a complaint with California's Consumer Business Affairs. I believe his actions to be fraudulant. When I asked for information and simple documentation supporting his ridiculous assertions regarding the banks policies with the ongoing issues I was having, he flat out refused. He went out of his way to compound an already frustrating situation. Something that should have been easily resolved, resulted in a long time client closing their accounts, and deeply offended. He knowingly denied the banks moral and legal culpability. He had no interest in rectifying the banks misconduct. If City National Bank hires a man like Brian Altman, I want no part of It. This man clearly has no moral compass. After years of being a loyal client, he was nothing but duplicitous, DISHONEST and worst of all a flat out liar. Clearly this bank does NOT care about it clientele. I found Brian Altman to lack any common decency.
