- RHRaoul HervezOct 30, 20251.0This credit union claims to be part of the credit union coop on its website, stating that you can do your banking at many branches “out of state”, but they do not, Like many other better credit unions, participate in the branch co-op. All they offer is ATMs- big whoop. We went a half hour out of our way to get to this branch to deposit a $26,000 check based on the website information and were turned away rudely by the teller who directed us to “use the ATM”. Really? For a $26,000 cashier’s check? That’s insanity. Notes: If you are a member here, you will not be able to use the thousands of other credit union branches across the US and internationally to do your banking. I would find a better credit union that actually does participate in the COOP/shared branching, is honest about its services, and knows enough not to advise a customer to deposit a 26,000 dollar cashier’s check through the ATM. (Eye roll)
