I knew more on how to do a wire transfer and inter banking transfers (from a Canadian bank to another) than the employees and the manager there. I'm not a genius, i left school early. And i don't work in banking at all, and never did. The lack of competence was quite amazing. Also, no follow up or update on a pre approval mortgage after i got them all the documents. I took my business to rbc. Same for investments and something as simple as GIC. RBC wins my business again. Too bad, being nice is not enough, even though it's really important. Also focus on proper training and competence.
