  Formal Complaint Regarding Incorrect Information and Unprofessional Conduct – TD Branch (Douglas Location) Date of Incident: October 11, 2025 Time: Approximately 9:30 AM Branch: TD Bank – Douglas Location Dear TD Customer Service, I am writing to formally raise a concern regarding an incident that occurred at your Douglas branch on the morning of October 11, 2025. I had inquired about the exchange rate for converting U.S. dollars (USD) to Canadian dollars (CAD), as I was planning to make a significant financial transaction. I spoke with a representative in person, and after asking her three times to confirm the exchange rate, she confidently provided a rate that appeared incorrect. Given the importance of the transaction, I decided to verify the information by calling another TD branch. That branch confirmed my suspicion – the rate I was given at the Douglas location was significantly inaccurate. Following this, I called the Douglas branch again to reconfirm the rate. Another representative answered the call and acknowledged that her coworker had indeed given me the wrong information. While on the call, I could clearly hear her speaking with the initial employee in the background, yet she claimed her colleague was currently with another client and initially refused to provide her name. Eventually, she reluctantly disclosed the name of the employee who provided the incorrect rate as “Christina.” I am deeply concerned not only by the dissemination of incorrect financial information but also by what appeared to be an effort to shield a coworker from accountability. This behavior undermines customer trust and raises questions about internal transparency and responsibility. I expect TD Bank to uphold high standards of professionalism and integrity. I kindly request that this incident be investigated, and I would appreciate a follow-up regarding any actions taken to ensure such situations are not repeated in the future.
