I was experiencing issues regarding my RRSP transfer as I have heard conflicting information resulting in a hold up from my previous bank as well as my employee plan. Kelvin handled my transfer and clearly communicated every update as well as explained the process in a way that made it simple to understand. I was reassured that the transfer was in the right hands as soon as Kelvin took over as he went above and beyond to communicate with my bank and insurance company in order to get the transfer to my account as soon as possible. It is rare to come across someone who combines both competence and empathy in their work the way Kelvin does. This experience has changed my view of TD to a positive one as I have never experienced such a personalized experience at any large financial institution before.

- CCCandice CummingAug 9, 20251.0The Saturday manager is awful . He avoids eye contact or communicating with patrons . While his two tellers are clearly new and struggling to understand prompts on their computers to resolve whatever they were working on with the two customers there . Rather than standing with either of them until the problem is solved he walks away which then the tellers have to go get him to get more questioned answered . All the while the line up gets longer and longer . Waiting 30 mins when I was the first person in line and then more and more people continue coming in is unacceptable. Had he communicated with anyone standing there maybe the whole crowd of people wouldn’t have got so agitated . The day time Monday - Friday manager will always open up her wicket at least to jump in and help out but this guys just avoided it until people basically started fighting each other . It put such a bad taste in my mouth .

They rotate staff constantly therefore no-one knows who you are and this makes things even slower along with having to get signatures to deposit cheques over a thousand dollars because they're new.
