    I went to this branch to get a U.S. dollar (brand new), and then they told me that they needed to place a request for me. After keeping me on hold for 40 minutes and finally making a phone call, they realized they could indeed place the request. When those 40 minutes were up, they told me it would take a week before I could pick up the draft. After one week, they contacted me to say that it was ready and I could come pick it up in two days. But when I showed up two days later, they told me that since I didn’t have a U.S. account, they couldn’t give it to me at all. They completely wasted my time in the worst possible way—over a week, nearly nine days. If they didn’t have the full information from the start, they could have just told me right away and saved me the trouble. This really shows a very low level of banking knowledge on their part—from the staff to the assistants and even the branch manager.

    This has to be the worst TD branch I’ve ever had the misfortune of visiting. I deposited a cheque here on Monday, the 29th of September. I have been depositing cheques for years with TD and they always lift the hold immediately. I tried to explain this and the lady was very rude and disrespectful. They told me there would be a hold that takes 3-5 business days. I just called to find out the funds won’t be released until October 8th. Clearly this branch is lazy and unreliable in addition to being dismissive and disrespectful of your time or concerns. Don’t deposit a cheque here, it may take more than a week before they get around to it, even if you go early on Monday. You’re better off banking with someone else, you’d think having an account with somewhere for 15+ years would be enough
