  I’ve had the pleasure of working with my planner Melody Liao for many years. I can honestly say it has been a game-changer for my financial well-being. From the very beginning, Melody took the time to understand my goals, concerns, and financial situation. The approach is thorough, personalized, and easy to understand. With limited capital in the bank, It wasn’t an easy decision for me to join TD wealth. I was given all the details upfront, and I was clearly informed about the minimum investment before joining TD Wealth. I am glad I made the right decision. Right from the start, she explained the differences between working with a financial advisor at TD Canada Trust, managing investments on my own with TD Direct Investing, and what she could offer through TD Wealth. Even though I was ready to invest more, she clearly explained that $150,000 is the minimum for her services, which I really appreciated—it never felt like she was hiding anything or trying to pressure me. She made sure I fully understood all the fees and how everything worked before I made any decisions, which gave me so much confidence in her approach. Let’s be honest, no financial planner works for free, but Melody really goes above and beyond to make sure her clients understand the value they’re getting. She took her time with me, never rushed me, and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way.
