Instead, I was steered into a sales pitch about their GIC “promotion,” which they misleadingly described as an “investment” through a TFSA with a 3% return over 14 months. They wasted my time trying to set up a meeting with a “financial advisor” who couldn’t actually provide any financial advice — only to continue pushing the same product I didn’t ask for. I almost fell for it, but thankfully realized this wasn’t aligned with my goals. Completely unhelpful experience — nothing got done, and I left with zero progress on my request.
