Again, I understand it’s not the branch’s fault and everyone is always lovely - a good learning experience and am now aware to never expect to be able to cash cheques over $2000 anywhere without a hold regardless of any factors (familiarity, account history, etc) Things I appreciate about TD on Ellis: 1. SO quick and painless to exchange change or withdraw whichever denominations you want 2. The team is very kind 3. The parking lot 💯 Original review: Banked with TD for my entire working life (since I was 12 years old working Christmas Day at Denny’s) and they won’t let me deposit a $4000 cheque without a hold! Love everyone that works there but this is so frustrating.

Then you park and just to deposit stand in line with ONE teller working and a bunch of offices with people in them on phones or simply WANDERING around while the line up gets busier by the minute.
