  Worst experience at this TD branch. I strongly advise against booking any appointments with Mickey Lok Wing Wong. My husband and I visited this branch for a mortgage pre-approval as first-time homebuyers. During the appointment, we were told we only qualified for a certain amount because, according to her, the minimum down payment needed had increased from 5% to 10% (also for properties under $500K). When I asked when this change happened, she said “recently”, without any further explanations. Unfortunately, we took her word for it at the time, thinking she, as bank advisor, would have correct information. She also told us that we needed to have a specific property in mind before she could draft a mortgage pre-approval. This contradicts what the Government of Canada website states, which clearly says that obtaining a mortgage pre-approval before house hunting is important so buyers understand their budget and borrowing limits. What’s worse, she didn’t review our financial information at all, despite all our accounts and credit history being with TD, which would have made it simple. The entire appointment lasted under 10 minutes. My husband even took time off from work to make sure he was able to make it to the appointment. What a complete waste of time!! It’s frustrating that someone can be so careless in such an important process. If she can’t be bothered to provide accurate info or do the bare minimum, maybe dealing with customers isn’t the right job for her.

  Shirin was awesome, came in and had some questions. She took the time to explain everything throughly and she always had a smile on her face. Would definitely recommend this agent and this location to all my friends and family.

  Good service when you open account, horrible service when you got problem, canceled my card. Wouldn’t coming again.
