  I opened a new account online two days ago and went in to the branch to deposit a bank draft. First, they said there’d be a 5-day hold (no problem, but really, holding a bank draft?? ), then refused to deposit it because it was dated before the account was opened. I even offered for them to just hold the funds until it cleared — they flat-out refused and treated me like I was trying to scam the bank. I was not attempting to withdraw any funds. I kept offering solutions, they kept refusing (or just plain staring at me blankly). When I realized I was begging them to take my money, I left frustrated — and came back to close all my accounts. One star is given only for the kind woman who helped me close them. My husband, a former TD employee, was shocked and the stupidity of all of this, and by the way I was treated, and will be closing his accounts too. This branch didn’t just lose business today, it lost customers for good. Shameful!

  Busiest time of day and only 2 bank tellers working while there is a line up to the door? 🤷‍♂️

  Been a loyal customer for 25+ years. Always good standing. Credit cards, life insurance, line of credit, numerous loans. Now when need them the most they have let me down. I am making arrangements to close everything and look for another bank.

  they are the kinds people who are allways.helping .and they are helpful .I just love this bank .not like Scotiabank .they are so rude .don't .smile .you have to be nice and kind to people .and T .D .is no 1 .
