I recently visited the bank to deposit some cheques, but unfortunately, I had a very unpleasant experience dealing with the Customer Service Manager, Mr. Pardeep Dhillon. Based on this interaction, I genuinely question how he holds a managerial position in customer service.
Mr. Dhillon displayed a lack of basic communication skills and professionalism. He was dismissive, unhelpful, and appeared more interested in asserting authority than resolving customer concerns. His attitude was arrogant, and he behaved as though he owned the bank, which is clearly not the kind of approach expected from someone in a customer-facing role.
I felt that he neither listened properly nor made any attempt to assist with the issue I raised. It was clear that he lacks the manners, training, and possibly even the qualifications expected of someone in a customer service leadership position.
Based on this experience, I strongly recommend that the bank reviews his conduct and either provides him with proper customer service training or considers replacing him with someone more suited to the role. I also advise other customers to be cautious when dealing with him, as my interaction left me extremely dissatisfied.
Customer service should be about respect, empathy, and problem-solving — qualities that were completely absent in this case.

I visited the TD Canada Trust branch at 32435 South Fraser Way, Unit 1, Abbotsford, BC (V2T 1X4) recently to deposit a cheque, and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience with the Customer Service Manager, Pardeep Dhillon.
From the beginning of the interaction, Mr. Dhillon was dismissive, unhelpful, and carried an unprofessional attitude. Rather than assisting with my concerns, he came across as rude and uninterested. I’ve been a loyal TD customer for over 5–6 years and have never had such a negative encounter with any staff member before.
What stood out the most was his lack of basic customer service skills — not listening, not offering any helpful solutions, and speaking in a way that felt disrespectful. It felt like he believed he had authority over clients rather than a responsibility to assist them. This is not the level of service one expects from a manager at a major financial institution.
I strongly feel TD Bank needs to address how its management staff are trained in communication, empathy, and professionalism. No customer should feel disregarded or belittled, especially when simply trying to complete a routine banking transaction.
I hope TD reviews this matter seriously and ensures that future interactions at this branch meet the standard the bank has otherwise maintained for years.

This branch does not value someone else’s time. I waited 45 mins just to access my own locker. No one at the front counter so if you need something you gotta wait in line to talk to the tellers. For the whole day max there is like two tellers available and they have like nine counters. I wouldn’t recommend this branch at all.

My Experience with TD Bank – Abbotsford Branch
I had a very disappointing experience with TD Bank. I booked an appointment to open my personal professional banking account at the Abbotsford branch. The representative who was assigned to me called and pressured me to cancel my appointment because he wanted the day off. When I refused, he went ahead and cancelled my appointment himself.
This behaviour is extremely unprofessional and shows a lack of respect for customers’ time and needs. I expect a bank to provide service, not to treat customers like they are doing us a favour. Based on this experience, I will be looking for another bank. In my opinion, TD has the worst customer service I’ve experienced, even though I've had an account with them for the last 8 years. Now I am feeling it's time to change bank.
Thank you, TD Bank, for showing me where not to do my banking.
