  I am elated that I bank at Hughes Federal Credit Union because of the support I receive each time I need anything! The last two visits were EXCELLENT because I had a problem with a local utility Corporation that was not helping me, though I spoke with four Customer Service Reps over a week with no help! The first visit to Hughes Federal Credit Union about my problem was Ceilia, a Member Service Representative who fixed a major issue I had paying the Utility Company that refused to go digital for years with bill pay requiring that the Bank had to draft a check, which should take up to 12 days. Ceilia helped set my phone to allow digital only payments which isn't available if you have a old phone. Ceilia assured me that future payments would be digital and I was extremely happy with that. Ceilia printed information about all the details of when the check was sent and when it should arrive to prove that It was not neglect that caused the check to be out there almost a month causing me stress! Today, I went back and explained my problem to Kim, the Brach Manager. Kim helped me and I felt like she was working with me like we were a team solving this problem. Kim listened to me and quickly came up with a plan to take care of this problem pronto! I liked Kim's plan and Cecilia's set up would allow me to just pay the utility company instantly with money set aside for the check that had not been also cashed and they would receive the money tomorrow. Kim also waved the fee to stop the check and assured me that if the Utility Company charged me a fee for the canceled check, Kim would take care of that as well. Talk about EXCELLENCE! I felt so great and felt like Kim and Ceilia went out of their way to help me in every way possible. I am so grateful the problem has been solved and I will tell you and everyone that Hughes Federal Credit Union goes out of their way to make banking a great experience. They had my back and sincerely cared about my problem. Thank you for all your help!!!

  I came in with my wife who is a member. We waited about 20 minutes to be seen, which is fine. It was a Monday. We get called back by the customer service lady Vanessa, my wife needed help with her debit card and online banking. When my wife was explaining what was going on, she acted like she didn’t even listen and asked us to repeat our issues. When we said it for the second time, she acted as if we should know how the issue. Something that should have taken maybe 15-20 minutes took over an hour. She kept getting up and coming back with no answers. Finally, she came back with another rep who then solved our problem within a matter of 5 minutes. She never apologized for how long it took, or didn't say what was going on. I thought she was very unprofessional. I also did plan on opening my own account that day but since it took so long and the service was not good, I decided to open an account elsewhere.

  Worst place to try and actually talk to a human!! Every time you call you get routed to the call center and they can't help you with most problems. Why even have a number for people to call. SO DAMN RIDICULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  Over 10 minutes on hold to have to be sent to a specialist that would call me at there own leisure. What a joke.

  Vanessa Cooper was very knowledgeable and professional in working with me and solving my problem I would recommend Hughes Federal Credit Union to anyone.
