  If I could give him zero stars, I would. Humberto Alday was the nastiest human being I had the displeasure of dealing with when my grandmother died. My grandmother spoke well of him and his assistance in managing her account but he seems to only care and act civilly when you are giving him money. We presented her death certificate after she died and inquired about the account. I fully expected to get no information as we had no authority, but he was short and unnecessarily rude, especially considering we were grieving. I do not recommend giving him any business, and that wasn't the end of it. My father got legal appointment as my grandmother's executor and personal representative. We went back and started to speak to the lady at the front desk asking what she needed and he immediately came out of his office, cut in and said "You get nothing. You're not on the account." Even when told we have legal documentation giving us the authority, he said nothing else but we weren't leaving because we had to make sure her affairs were resolved. He then directed the gal at the front desk (who was lovely to speak with) to scan and send what we had to the legal department for direction. I completely understand having a policy requiring LEGAL documents to go to the LEGAL department before anything happens, but he was absolutely horrible. No customer service at all. Due to his unnecessary nastiness, we did not trust him to do what he was suppose to do, so we called another Edward Jones office to verify the policy and ask for contact information for corporate so we could send them the legal docs and request ourselves.

  My elderly mother is a client of Mr. Alday. She has had nothing but good things to say regarding Mr. Alday and his staff. The patience and kindness shown to her is unfortunately something you do not see much of these days. We are thankful for Mr. Alday, his staff and the Edward Jones Group.
