  I had investments with Mass Mutual. When I moved, I made several attempts to change my address so I could continue to receive my statements. I kept hitting dead ends to the point that I was not able to access my funds, view status or even know where my money was. When I called the 800 number on my last statement, they told me I have no money in my account. This went on for a couple of years, I searched “lost money” sites and exhausted all avenues possible, opened “cases” and escalated with MM corporate, etc. Finally, I went to another investment company who was able to help me track it down. Strangely, MM/Jeffrey Dollarhide even changed my account number by one digit since the last time I received a statement, making it even harder to track down. Once the associate at Jeffrey Dollarhide’s company knew I wanted to transfer the money away from them, they became rude, then completely unresponsive to me. I had to call the Mass Mutual corporate office/800 number to get my money out of there. It was a long ordeal and complicated to fully articulate in a review but I caution anyone from allowing this company to handle any of your investments.

  Matt Lowery treated my employees terribly. Seven of my employees met with him and every one of them said the same thing, used car salesmen. I have finally found a different investor that actually takes the time to see what is best for me and my family instead of just pushing a bunch of products in front of us telling us that we 'need' them. He does seem to be very knowledgeable about his products but his approach is high pressure and little explanation.

  I shopped several insurance and financial services companies and have found the agents and staff at this Mass Mutual office to far exceed my expectations. I recommend them to anyone who is a busy professional or business owner looking for a professional who will do more than put you in a cookie cutter plan.
