I initially learned about construction loans on wellsfargo.com and wanted to learn more so I booked an appointment "to discuss construction loans". My rep had never heard of them, told me Wells Fargo doesn't offer them, so I showed him their own website. He went to discuss with the manager and then tried to call the number on the Wells Fargo website to learn more. Come on guys, I can call the same number, but I wanted to set aside time to get all my questions answered. Construction loans are not complicated, and there's a page listing it on your website, so I would assume the bankers who do this for a living would have some vague inkling that it was a thing. It was frustrating.
