Jennifer Gonzalez was the BEST! After a terrible AM on the phone with another bank, it was refreshing to find someone who actually knew what she was doing, made good suggestions, and put me at ease.

Absolute failure of an institution. Do NOT use this bank.
Opened my account mid-late May and closed it first week of July.
Three major failures: lack of transparency, poor online-banking , robotic customer service.
Lack of transparency: Chose this bank partially because of a $300 promotion. Asked the bankers about it and they gave conflicting information from what was listed on the website. Furthermore, they stated the promotion was subject to an "assessment". When asked about when and how long said assessment would occur - they had no answer and no way to get/give an answer.
Poor online-banking: When attempting to enroll through their website, the enrollment kept failing. I was told to go through their app - same issue. Contacted customer service (taking 3 calls to get a solution). They manually enrolled me on their end and I logged into my account and changed my password. The account didn't have my credit card attached. Had to call again and they unenrolled me, and took another 2 weeks and 3-4 calls to re-enroll me.
Online banking failed in another week - I was unable to log back into my account. Customer service showed I was enrolled, my account had no blocks, and they had no answers for why I could not log in. This issue lasted for another week before I chose to simply close my account.
Robotic Customer Service: With the failure of online-banking, I wanted assistance with my credit card - looking for possible fraud and maybe adding security. Called the help line, took 4 calls to get through an agent (the automation would either hang-up on me, I would be dropped while they placed me on hold, or I would be transferred to a department which was closed). And before you ask - my cell phone service is excellent; these incidents happened from work, home, and running errands.
Once I did reach customer service, they kept saying the same thing: they are only able to send me the statement as paper (and charge me for the service) and they have no way to add security. Requests to speak with supervisors or explaining the need for higher security because of THEIR technologic failures had no results; the call would either drop or they would promise a call back which never came.
All-in-All Midfirst Bank, while having a phenomenal presentation, showed itself to be an empty suit. I do not recommend.
