    6 months ago I was convinced by Brayden (a premier banker) at this branch to open a Platinum High Yield savings account to hold a sizable amount of money and avoid fees on attached accounts. I was given a reasonable high yield rate. Everything was fine until September when I noticed that my interest payment for August had dropped to $20. When I check the rate on the account it had dropped to .02%. I was supposed to receive a courtesy call at the end of July remining me of the high rate expiration and to switch me to a new high rate. I received this call late in August by which time it was too late and I had already sustained hundreds in lost interest. There was no effort on the part of Wells Fargo to make this right except to tell me they could offer me a new rate if I transferred another $10K in new money (the same offer they give any new customer). I told them to shove it, transferred my money out and will close my Platinum savings account as soon as possible. Don't open Platinum Savings with Wells. Find a good Online Bank like CIT or OpenBank.

    I went in to change my last name on my account and they gave the hardest time ever. The manager had an attitude and came off rude. Definitely wouldn’t go back. What happened to customer service and customer appreciation? Disgusting.

    I have dealt with numerous banks in the time I have traveled with my job but other than a bank in Rapid City, SD, I have never had such Great service as I have had with the Wells Fargo branch in Cave Creek, AZ. Three people have helped me with an IRA that I had with another institution over the course of 1 month (a lot of complicated procedures to close it out & transfer). Pranay, Magdalena, Jodi, have gone far above and beyond to assist me. I am very grateful to them and to Wells Fargo for their great customer service. Curt Yeager
