If you are a veteran or even if you do not have a VA loan, stay far away from WF.

The bank experience was great. Very friendly. Unfortunately I got into a fender bender in the parking lot. All is good though, no injuries so I can put it down to a life experience.

Part 2 – Deeply Disappointed with Service This incident the I had previously posted happened on March 21, 2025 - this is part 2 of my journey. By the time the bank manager finally came over to speak with my mother, she was already visibly shaken and growing increasingly upset. Unfortunately, instead of taking any responsibility, the original bank representative showed zero accountability for how she had treated my mom. It felt like they had already made up their minds to dismiss her as just another “confused elderly woman” rather than recognizing the very real emotional distress and trauma she was experiencing. Listening from the other end of the phone, I was becoming just as upset. I couldn’t see my mom—I could only hear her, and what I heard broke my heart. A flood of terrifying thoughts raced through my mind: Should my mom sit down and try to calm herself? Would she be able to leave the bank safely, especially with construction going on outside? Would she be safe to drive in the state she was in? My mom was so emotionally overwhelmed by the treatment she received that all she wanted was to get out of there. She felt humiliated, dismissed, and completely unsupported. And while I tried to hold myself together to be strong for her, tears streamed down my face. I felt completely helpless—not being there to protect her, to hug her, or to take over and fix what had gone so terribly wrong. What’s worse is that both the bank representative and the manager witnessed how upset my mother was. They could hear me repeatedly asking her if she was okay. And still—no one offered to walk her to her car across the street. No one checked in on her. No one followed up. They let an elderly, grieving woman leave their building in tears, and visibly shaken. That kind of neglect is not just bad service—it’s inhumane. This particular bank representative should not be in a public-facing role—especially not one where she interacts with elderly or vulnerable clients. She lacked professionalism, patience, and most importantly, basic compassion. And the lack of support from the manager was equally disappointing. My mom and her partner moved from Washington State because they loved Arz. This is only part 2 of my story with Wells Fargo bank - it continues.
