  My opinion of Bank OZK is improving in the last couple of years. Initially, when I chose them, they had fantastic service. They experienced a name change, and they changed locations. Currently, personnel are friendly and respectful and have answered each question I have had patiently. It has been over two years ago when I had a customer service representative at the window mess up the amount of money I had in savings. It was corrected, however, by a manager within the bank. It scared me. Thus far, the amounts are correct, and they are efficient. I was drawn to the bank several years ago due to having a godfather work there and got me to change banks. I am placing my confidence in Bank OZK!

  Be very careful about opening up a money market here.‼️I was assured I met the 3 requirements for a high interest money market. Highlighted on the terms & conditions page. 1. $25,000 of new money.. 2. Maintain an average daily balance of 25,000 and 3. Have an existing Ozark checking account. I met all three. when they pulled up my accounts my old money market account with them showed up and I told them I had moved it to another bank with a higher yield earlier in the year. I repeatedly asked the branch manager if there were any other requirements or if there were monthly fees. He assured me there weren’t. I get my statement a month later and I am only getting 0.75 percent. I took it in to the same branch manager. who basically said oops., he didn’t realize at the time that there was a 4th requirement.. that I couldn’t have had a money market with them in the last 12 months. He was well aware I had closed one several months earlier. He couldn’t credit me the interest he said. His ignorance has cost me hundreds of dollars in interest. He told me he would have his boss call me but I am still waiting to hear from him. I have banked with them for over 5 years but no longer trust them.

  This has become the worst bank to do business with. Poor customer service. Employees that aren't trained to do their job well. Been sitting at the drive though window for 30 minutes waiting for the receipt for my deposit. They should have used their fancy building and statue money to improve their banking operations
