- RWRose WhitleyOct 31, 20251.0I used the branch in Rainbow City. It closed and I was told an ATM would be available until the bank sold. They closed the ATM with no notification to us as customers and now I have no idea where to go other than Gadsden.

I was trying to deposit a check from a customer into my business account and she basically told me the check had been altered and that it look like it was $120 to her not $135 and refused to deposit the check. The check came from one of my older clients and I’ll admit her handwriting isn’t the best but for this lady to tell me she isn’t depositing the check because it looks like $120 to her completely took me off guard. She basically accused me of cheating my customer out of $15. I can clearly read $135 and I can clearly read “one hundred thirty five” on the check. I’m very disappointed in my bank. I’ve been banking with Wells Fargo 20 plus years and have never been treated like this. The same lady was rude to the customer in front of me as well.

They claim it is in the contract, yet they never gave me any paper work on the account!
