Ok we close two accounts one checking, one savings and receive checks for each written by BB&T Bank. Attempt to open two new accounts and was refused because we didn't have an active account at that bank. So let's cash the two checks you just wrote when closing the other joint accounts. Their answer we don't have enough cash to cash those checks not even enough to cash one of them.
