Called 4 times at 4pm on dot, in my opinion, you should never have to wait on hold for a representative to be told “ There are no bankers at this time they can assist you with your call” I mean… This place sucks. I will no longer be banking with them after this week huge company not efficient customer service.

Love Wells Fargo for 12 years now but the Palmer, AK branch is the worst I've ever had to deal with honestly. They never have more than one teller working and there is always a huge line because of that. The bankers or branch manager don't help work through the line ever when they could very easily assist with smaller scale transactions or needs of the people in line. Also very put off by the way they gossip/chat unprofessionally right behind the teller counter or with the ONLY person working through the line, making it take longer every single time. This is not a one time experience, it's been over the span of about 10 visits in the past few months. If you can go somewhere else I would highly recommend it.

The Wells Fargo Palmer branch is truly a dystopian institution. A real fire and brimstone hellscape to be sure. I made the mistake of thinking that I could drop off deposits in the afterhours drop box. It was not to be. Taking deposits is something that they actively avoid. I know what you are thinking, "but isn't that what banks do?" Not in Palmer they don't. At the Palmer branch they define banking as closing the drop box with no notice, no call, no note, no sign, and no care. If you call them and inquire about the situation, they give you some hoops to jump through. Have you ever tried to call google, email Facebook, or write Walmart a letter about something? If not, try it. That is what it is like to attempt banking at Palmer Wells Fargo. They will try to make you a soulless number, an inanimate cog, a lowly bug to be squashed. They will wield their tireless aim of not doing any work at all in order to crush your spirit. They will shamelessly hide behind their corporate machine in order to not allow their customers to use the deposit drop box. If you value your time, sanity, or self-respect then bank elsewhere.

This bank despises you! Do not go there. You have been warned. They unapologetically make banking as hard as possible and actively put hurdles in your way. No afterhours drop box, just pure thought crushing headache. Using a drop box should be pretty simple, but they want me to spend leave time from work to go down there and sign a contract just to use the afterhours box. Like I said, nothing but hurdles for customers so they don't have to do actual banking. If you call and complain, they will just make you the problem for not giving in to their numerous, arbitrary, and oppressive demands. Stick my hand in a blender or bank at the Palmer branch? Thats a hard choice.

This bank is perhaps the worst run bank branch in the country. They dislike their customers to the core. I can no longer drop off deposits in the afterhours drop box because they locked it. When I called about it, they gave me the heave ho. Unless you are one of those people that enjoys pain, do yourself a favor and go to the Wasilla branch.
