- ACAntje Monika CookNov 1, 20251.0Very poor service. Obvious fraud activity on my account and didn't get notified at all. TD used to have the most excellent Freud prevention program. Their customer service is non existent. In addition, I just replaced my bank card because of previous fraudulent activity. Got a new card and no one else had knowledge of the card information except the bank and me. Completely unethical practices and services. The bank manager sent $100 credit to my account ( out of the goodness of her heart ). Tried to return it and I couldn't, because it said internal transfer. Avoid at all costs. SCAM ! People should be charged. Will be alerting the police. UPDATE: went into the branch and the uneducated, pathetic, unprofessional and unethical people providing services there, admitted that someone must have failed to cancel my previous card. I closed my account after having a discussion with a pushy, ignorant bank employee, who kept ignoring my requests. She, in front of an entire bank full of customers, explained that the manager felt sorry for me, so therefore decided to put $100 into my account. I told her to reverse the deposit. I have no use for the pathetic people, who " serve " customers in such a way. These people have no boundaries. I didn't give anyone permission to make deposits. I said I intended to file a complaint and call the RCMP. Then she proceeded to hand me pamphlets that I told her I didn't want. Absolutely no people skills and no boundaries. I didn't give anyone permission to give me anything and I did not ask for anything to be given. Unbelievable. Likely a lawsuit in the making. I signed a paper asking to have the account closed. I have another account with the bank and they have just removed access to my own account! This " bank " has absolutely no security and unprofessional people working in capacities they are not qualified for. Obviously. I have 2 years to file a formal lawsuit against this branch and the employees. My daughter agrees that her money is likely more secure in a sock under a bed.
