I had a great experience with the branch here. For sure, for mortgages and personal loans, I will come back here.

If I could give no stars I would!! Don’t go to this branch. We were sent away and literally laughed at when we tried to open a new personal chequing account with valid ID. Keep in mind we already have a joint account and savings account with TD. The branch manager was so rude, and told us to go to another branch if we were unsatisfied but wouldn’t receive help. Imagine we did, and we were gracefully welcomed and helped at 915 17th ave SW. Not all branches or banks are bad, but this is the worst I’ve seen!

If you’re thinking of opening a TD Cash Back Secured Visa to build credit—don’t. Just don’t. I did everything right, and TD Bank still managed to treat me like a criminal for using my own money “too responsibly.” Here’s how it went down: I opened the card with a $500 limit, planning to use it for daily purchases while paying it off regularly. Totally normal stuff. I used it responsibly for a month, then decided to make a larger payment—$2,000—to cover all expenses in advance and make sure it never ran a balance. I figured prepaying would be a win-win. Responsible behavior, right? WRONG. TD Bank apparently found this offensive. They instantly froze my card—not because of fraud, not for unusual usage, but because I tried to pay them too much money. Yes. They blocked my secured card for a $2,000 payment on a $500 limit. Let’s be clear: this was a payment, not a charge. Not me trying to spend over the limit. Just me saying “here’s money in advance so I can use the card.” But wait—it gets worse. They refused to apply the money to my card. They also refused to return the payment. They locked it down completely. So now my funds are sitting in limbo, my account is frozen, and I’m being penalized for doing exactly what they tell people to do to build credit. It’s like being mugged by a bank and then told it’s for your own good. And just when I thought TD couldn’t insult me any further… they withheld taxes on an investment I made through them that ended in a net loss. Let that sink in. They taxed my losses. So now I’m: • Locked out of a card I funded. • Out thousands in a frozen payment. • Being taxed on money I lost. All while TD smiles and calls it “standard policy.” This isn’t banking—it’s daylight robbery with a customer service script. TD’s secured card is a trap. If you’re trying to build credit, there are plenty of other institutions that won’t punish you for being too financially responsible. TD Bank has officially made it on my blacklist—and I’m warning everyone I can. If this happened to you—or anything remotely as absurd—share your story. These banks thrive when we stay quiet. Let’s make sure they don’t. — And their response adds the same attitude and culture: they messed up, but it’s the client who TD caused enormous damage shall call them, wait hours on hold listening to the same annoying voice, until it’s convenient to an incompetent staff member to speak to you. Even government has understood the idea of callback.

Frustrating Bank. I dont understand why they don't let you access the ATM when the bank closed even though they have a separate locked portion that would allow this (like all other banks have). What makes this worse is that the bank is barely open.
