I asked to transfer it to another institution and they're dragging their feet. False promises and cheap excuses.
- CDColin DAug 19, 20201.0Set up a new account for a family member. Required a bank statement in order to set up health care and ID for proof of residence. Requested at the bank. Teller said 3 days and it will be mailed from head office in Toronto (We are in Alberta). It has been 5 days and nothing, called today...no request was ever put in by the original teller. Now we have to wait another 7-10 days for the request to process and our bank statement sent to us. They event said that there is a "charge" to send over a bank statement. Luckily, we did not have to pay that. Very unacceptable service...and strongly suggest going with a different bank! We will be closing all our family accounts
