From a variety of Chequing & Savings accounts, Credit Cards, Mortgages, Loans and Lines of Credit to Retirement Planning, TD Canada Trust has all your Personal and Business Banking needs covered.
Td always is a reasonable bank. One of the stricter lenders and due to size are pretty conservative, but for regular people just wanting to bank and get paycheques and withdraw some coin from time to time it’s ok. I like RBC too. Td has good locations tho, really frequent and never lines

Very unprofessional and disappointing experience, especially with TD advisor Linjun Li
Writing on behalf of my parents: They opened an account to deposit money withdrew from RESP for my younger brother with special needs through TD advisor Linjun Li. Because their English is limited, they trusted her guidance. When opening the account, they gave her school documents showing tuition, which was over 4 times the withdrawal limit that the advisor never mentioned to my parents. Later, when my dad tried to pay tuition, the payment was declined. They went to the branch in hope to resolve the issue. At the branch, instead of helping, the advisor made excuses and walked away when the bank teller asked the advisor for support. My parents felt taken advantage of because of their limited English. Very unprofessional and disappointing experience.
Update: issue resolved (day 2) after escalating the matter to manager in branch.

would give a 0 star review if google allowed be but I am extremely frustrated with the workers as they did nothing to help me with a transfer that should have taken 5 buisness days at most but it ended up taking over a week. They were completely useless in the matter, did not do a single thing to help or inform me of the current situation. They took all the money I had previously and put it on hold along with the money I was transfered. It did not allow me to use any money I had before. It does not show when your funds are available, everything looked normal but it seems like a scam so you would rack up overdraft fees. It did not send me an email or indication that my funds were on hold. This was only one of the instances that were extremely frustrating. I do not recommend you use this bank, I would suggest you bank with a different bank.
UPDATE:
The people at the center were still completely useless, they had brought up another issue that has been resolved as an excuse to why I could not access the money previously in my account.

I do not go to the branch very often, mostly to manage some investments. The financial advisor that I used to deal with was very nice and knowledgeable. Unfortunately that person retired.
I went to the bank last week to make a change with my accounts. The advisor filled some forms, I signed them, and it seemed to be done. but a couple of days later I got a voice message from the financial advisor that he missed something and I needed to make appointment to go to the branch again to complete the process.
Obviously i have to go to the branch. But if I have to go to the bank multiple times to arrange something simple, it breaks my trust in the branch and the bank handling my finances.

This is my bank and I've had mostly very good experiences with customer service, but there is one teller that was very condescending to me. The last experience upset me enough to have me consider moving my accounts, but I eventually realized that I just have to avoid her when I see she is working. I know it is difficult to analyse the performance of teller staff but I would suggest to tell teller staff to not try to "educate" customers by using post office analogies.
