- HBHome BossDec 19, 20251.0Tried to deposit a cheque yesterday from from another TD account and was told there will be a three day hold on it. The manager came over and I asked her if you can see the funds are available why would there be a hold? She said it would actually be a 5 day hold. With all the holidays and weekends the funds will be in my account on the 30. I have been banking there for 30 years. Time to close my accounts. Okay so I called the number below and they just called the same manager that held the cheque 😂 nothing they can do about it. That kinda defeats the purpose. Joon the manager is flexing ha. Thanks TD
- GDGlenn DNov 27, 20251.0Not a great experience. Staff all excited to help you get a product (where I believe they get credit on) and once you have signed up, the customer experience completely disappears. Based upon my experience. Very disappointing when compared to my other bank.
- JFJ FNov 12, 20251.0My mortgage broker placed me with TD last time and it’s time for my renewal. I booked a phone appointment to discuss my renewal. I asked if the rates they email me are their best rates. She said no, not really. I asked her how to get the best rate and she said to make an in person appointment. Why in person? They won’t help me over the phone or even tell me what rates they are offering. I’m not sure I want an appointment in person if I don’t know the rates. The call lasted 2 minutes. What a waste. Want a great advertisement for mortgage brokers. I’ll be calling mine and asking him to find the best mortgage anywhere except TD. I have a high income. 894 credit score and lots of secure equity in my home and it’s clear they don’t give a crap about my business. Thanks TD. See ya.
- SMStewart MacLeanOct 17, 20251.0Made an appointment for 9 am to open a GIC. Person was not there. Stood in line and asked for them. Staff lied and said she was in the back. I left after 15 minutes without her showing up. Will try another bank as my pension goes to TD.
