- MRMd Omar RezaJan 9, 20182.0I am only writing this review because I am very very very frustrated with their service! I may sound petty, but I AM FRUSTRATED! I was interested in investing on a particular item and I went to TD Barrhead to open a direct investing account on an emergency basis since I've been using TD account from the beginning. The lady told that she sent an emergency request for my investing account and it should not take more than 5-7 business days. Now, time frame for me was very critical as my item's price won't stay low for long. So, I agreed and came back home. Guess what? No one contacted me after more than 7 business days! I called her.... NO RESPONSE....I kept calling her and she finally received my phone may be after 7-8 calls. She informed me something is wrong with their TD Warehouse software and now it'll take longer may be 15 business days. OK, I was disappointed but didn't have any choice but to wait. My item price already went high high up and it'll be risky to invest on that particular item at that point. Then I called her again and again. She didn't receive any calls. So, I emailed her and she increased the range up to 20 business days in an email response. Till then I was OK as she didn't have anything to do from her side. TODAY I became very frustrated because she is not responding my email for 5 days and then I called TD Warehouse directly! Finally, TD Warehouse told me that my account opening had a deficiency because of a lack of document! HOW FRUSTRATING IT CAN BE! NO ONE FROM TD called me and informed about that! It's been OVER A MONTH and I am continuously trying to communicate with them!!! Very disappointed with TD and I am exploring other baking options as a result of my frustration! I will NEVER recommend TD to anyone! I am re-reviewing this comment. Today is 25th Jan 2018. TD has opened my account around 18th Jan and apologized for the whole thing and waived my account fee for 1 year. I have increased the rating from 1 to 2. But still not very happy with their service.
