  It was a difficult decision to move my mother into assisted living but the staff gives my mother better care than I could provide and she is definitely safer than living on her own. She is also exposed to more people on a daily basis which socially is important for her mental health.

  We found ourselves in the position to need an assisted living homes for my mother. We visited at many assisted living homes in Kanawha County and found that Brookdale Charleston Gardens was the perfect fit for my mother. The staff members were engaged, kind and friendly. They had a variety of activities offered throughout the day for those who want to participate. I heard nothing but great things about the food that was prepared for the residents. The management team was very approachable when I had many questions to ask. They also have a nurse on staff 24 hours a day, which is very important to us to monitor our mother as needed. My mother has been at Brookdale Charleston Gardens for two and a half months, and we feel very fortunate that we have found a new home for our mother to meet her every changing needs.

  Working in the healthcare industry for 15 plus years and visiting this community numerous times, I would highly recommend Brookdale Charleston Gardens for your loved ones. The facility is always clean and staff is very friendly. There are always activities going on for the residents, especially through Covid this is a necessity for socialization. They go above and beyond!!!

  As the owner of AMADA Senior Care I have had several clients move into this community when it wasn't safe for the client to be at home without full time care. Everyone I've dealt with at Charleston Gardens has been professional and kind, however my main point of contact is their sales manager Lisa Pauley. She is always quick to contact families, she goes above and beyond to accomodate their needs and is able to get them moved in quickly if there's a need for immediate care. My clients are thriving under the excellent care of the staff at Charleston Gardens!
