- ALAshley LuttermanMar 19, 20235.0Our children have attended Cornerstone since they were both 10 weeks old and we’ve been with the center for 7 years now. Other than when my kids have been in 4K at another school, we have attended full-time and year-round. We selected Cornerstone based on the recommendation of a family member who worked there during college. If you’re reading this and considering Cornerstone, these are likely the areas you’re concerned about. - Facility - High cleaning standards; warm and inviting with vibrant colors and children artwork. Large outdoor area for warm weather months. New, repurposed indoor area for large motor activities during winter months. - Classrooms - Structured classroom settings that prepare children for school. Teachers post academic curriculum/activities. Hold parent/teacher conferences in fall/spring and as needed. Good balance of curriculum and free time. - Staff - Experienced and dedicated staff. Several staff have been there the whole time we’ve been there and even when my family member worked there. The staff truly care about the well-being and development of children. They are very creative with their classrooms, too! Responsive to parents and children. Daily information sheets for infants to 3years. After 3 years, teachers provide verbal feedback as needed. - Leadership - responsive, professional, and present in classes. They don’t just sit in an office. I have had very few concerns since I’ve been there and every one of them have been appropriately addressed by leadership. I even received a call after business hours to inform me a concern was resolved. - Tuition - In general, daycare is expensive - it doesn’t matter the facility. Cornerstone has been fair and reasonable with their tuition pricing and increases over the last 7 years. You can tell the last thing they want to do as a daycare center is increase the tuition for their families. Any increases are truly out of necessity and not to price gouge. They do their best to control costs without compromising services. They notify you in advance of increases. Our 7 year experience with Cornerstone has not only met, but exceeded our expectations. My children love their “school” and teachers at Cornerstone. Above all, I trust Cornerstone with the lives of my children.
