- RPRobert PiechuraJul 8, 20255.0Christine Piechura- I am writing this on behalf of my mother. Mom moved into independant living 2 and one half years ago at age 98. She did not participate in enough activities but had many friends and relatives visiting her at this beautiful facility. When she moved to assisted living and started having meals down stairs her world opened to all the wonderful residents and staff. All of the caregivers were very respectiveful and kind. I can't tell you how often I saw them hug her. So thankful Mom lived in such a wonderful environment. Thank you so much.,Chris

- SKShellee KremerApr 25, 20221.0My mom moved from independent to assisted living after having a health scare in August. She was not taking meds correctly so assisted was the place for her to go. Sadly we constantly found her medicine hidden in drawers and tissue boxes as they didn’t make sure she had actually swallowed them. Mom was scared to push her pendent and often sat for a long time with no help. My daughter was there one time and they pushed the pendant and someone responded within three minutes, went to get someone else, who never came. Finally after two hours the night person came to give meds and said she never got the call. Thank God my daughter could help my mom herself as she had some EMT training. Communication with FWK is non existent. You cannot reach anyone after hours. The staff are young and not trained for emergencies. Beware of the glitz and glamour, the assisted living is not what we had imagined. Mom passed away 6 months after moving into assisted.

I would like to recognize and thank the team here at Fairway Knoll and the Arbor; specifically admin staff, activity staff, food services, maintenance, and ESPECIALLY all the medical caregivers supporting the residents in memory care. My mom has been in your care since late summer of 2019. There have been, and continue to be, many challenges to providing the highest level of care and safety (an obvious understatement) but I truly believe you folks are doing an excellent job supporting her and keeping her well and safe. Kudos to Halle, Nina, Christine, Terri, and Lolita ... and your respective teams ... for your efforts from our family. Please pass this along. Snow Family

An expensive lighting kit was accidently delivered to this address instead to my address location, a couple blocks away from Fairway Knoll. Judy Thomas from the front desk located my website, sent me an email telling me of my delivery and included her phone number and what time she was available for me to pick up my package. I went to pick up my delivery and I offered Judy Thomas $20 for contacting me, she refused and said that it was her pleasure and thought I may want this delivery. I was so appreciative and I highly think this company set their employees to have integrity and honesty and sense of humor for people. They love people and I love companies that have these values. Thank you again Judy Thomas!
