At The Goddard School located in Vancouver (Salmon Creek), we're more than just a daycare. The Goddard School is a private preschool, offering childcare to infants and toddlers to pre-k. Our programs are designed to nurture each child's curiosity in a safe and caring environment.
(Old Review 2023):
Before anything else in life, I must know my child is safe, which includes meeting all needs. I and my family are absolutely dependent on the SC Goddard family and for that we are extremely blessed. It is unbelievable how excellent this organization is. My child's needs have been met in early potty training, mechanistic language, kindnesss to others and emotional awareness if self, advanced language, food allergies, and more. Not only the advanced ways children get to experience learning, but the kindness and attention given to them, and the detail-oriented practices, and cleanliness, staff who have passion for teaching and keeping kids safe and who stay long term - the list goes on and on. I felt a little skeptical of the outstanding 5-star reviews before we were accepted, but it is true that there isn't a better place; I've experienced 3 other schools in the area, all with good reviews, and have felt the daily concerns and encountered serious issues. Happy to take my child to SC Goddard which is, rather than just a place, is more of a family culture in the sense that they understand how personal it is for your children to be in their hands. Paul and Natalie, and their handpicked amazing staff are wonderful and we would do anything for them since they all truly do go above and beyond for us everyday!
(Reviewed again 2025):
There is nothing like this family of caring humans who will undoubtedly show you that you made the best choice if you do decide to start at Goddard Salmon Creek. I have left an extensive Google review on the aspects of the team which I think are the most wonderful, but truly until you enroll your child and see for yourself the quality of the interactions, the safety, the educational activities, the family connection, and more, no outstanding review will do justice. Detail-oriented, and no other place comes close when seeing, feeling, and knowing is believing when it comes to my child, and so this school is worth every penny.

Today is my daughter's last day at Salmon Creek Goddard School. Not because we want her to leave, but simply because we are moving. I only wish I could pick up the school and the staff and bring them along with us. For two years my daughter has been attending the Goddard School, and for two years I have been so happy to know that I never have to worry about my daughter during the day. She has made great friends, and met wonderful teachers who have given her the opportunities to create, learn, explore and grow as herself, at her own pace and in ways that she finds "super fun". I would highly recommend this school to anyone who is looking for a place for their children - you won't regret it.
Some perks about the school:
- Secure, parents are let through a locked door either from the office staff or with their own personal code/fingerprint scanner.
- Clean! They take great care of their facilities and it shows.
- Great staff - I have never had a negative interaction with any staff member
- Happy children! You can walk past each classroom and see happy, healthy children playing.
- Outside time - They have 2 areas with play equipment, depending on the age of your child, as well as a field area for the kids to play with scooters, balls, and hula hoops.
- Encouraging potty training - honestly, I'd give this school props because I think the majority of my daughter's potty training was done here. It really helps to have friends going through the same routines as her to help her understand why we use the potty.
- Communication - Michelle is great at returning any emails sent her way, and the school is on top of things when it comes to communicating events, illnesses that may occur, and any other types of info needed. A+ on this.
- Schedules - they offer both full day and half days, and are very accommodating when schedules need to be changed. As a student, my days would change every couple of months, and it was never an issue to go from half days to full days and switch days that she attended.
I could go on for much longer, easily. Best experience I could have asked for.

Our son has been with Goddard for almost a year now and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. The entire staff is so incredibly welcoming and makes you feel more comfortable about leaving your little one. Our son has grown so much since being at Goddard and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Best school/daycare around !! After a not so great experience at a different facility in the area, I toured The Goddard school, and immediately knew that this was going to be our kids new "home" during the day! The teachers are wonderful!! They all seem to love their jobs, which shows, since I have never seen anything other than smiling faces. The focus is on learning through play, and the kids get to experience so much through different learning styles. My 3 year old came home telling me about the space and Jupiter as well as most other planets. It really shows that all of the teachers have at a minimum an Associate Degree in the field. Michelle ( the owner) and Selena (the director of education) are some of the most kind, warm and welcoming women I have ever met. They, along with ALL of the teachers, will go out of their way to make sure that you and your child feel comfortable, and their doors are always open should any concern ever arise. The teachers address any issues as they come up in a kind and respectful manner, and there is direct communication with the parents every day we pick up the kids. The facility is brand new, beautiful and has a state of the art security system. I simply cannot say enough about how wonderful they are!!

My partner and I have three very active pre-schoolers and we looked extensively at our options for placing them in school. It was important to us that they were made to feel welcome, well-supervised and stimulated to learn in a friendly and nurturing environment. Michelle Solari and her staff at Goddard have exceeded our expectations in all categories: They work with the parents to ensure the children are thriving. We receive a daily written progress report and our kids have all shown a marked increase in their interest in reading and writing since starting at Goddard. Michelle Solari and her staff really take an interest in our kids and we have no reservations when we drop our children off in the morning about their safety or care!
