- TSTyler StutmannJan 11, 20245.0I volunteer at Maplewood pretty often. I don't have any living grandparents, so the residents have pretty much adopted me as their grandson. Maplewood is right by Gonzaga, so it's convenient and always a good time. They have lots of activities, parties and of course karaoke! The residents love karaoke and it's always entertaining. Wii bowling is always a good time and the residents are actually really good at it. I have ate at the dinning room a bunch of times and the food is always good and fills me up. Maplewood has become my 2nd family and I'm thankful the residents and staff have always been welcoming.

He is currently finishing up at a rehab center only to have nowhere to return to. They are kicking him out. The most comical part is they didn’t even give him until the end of the month, which is how long he’s paid for. Is he supposed to live on the street? This is how you treat a 70+ year old vet? Thank goodness for my family or you would have thrown all of his belongings out.
