My husband, Gordon who is non verbal and suffers from right-side-weakness due to a severe stroke some years ago, recently spent 2 weeks at Pine Heights. His doctor determined that he needed more intensive physical and occupational therapy than what he was getting at home. His stay there not only helped him regain his strength, flexibility and confidence, it also allowed him to interact socially with other residents especially during meal times in the dining room. In addition, the staff attended to his every need professionally and with kindness and compassion. One aide, Robin, paid particular attention to him helping to make his stay most enjoyable. All in all, Gordon greatly benefited from his time at Pine Heights and came home stronger and more confident than before. I am very grateful to everyone involved in Gordon’s care and rehabilitation at Pine Heights. Sincerely, Cynthia Keyes

As a community partner supporting clients in need of skilled rehab, Pine Heights goes above and beyond. Therapy, nursing staff, admissions and social workers create care plans with the patient involved every step of the way. They meet clients where they are at, communicate with community based partners to coordinate transitions home and the clients I work with have consistently reported feeling respected and informed. With our medical system now so complicated and fractured, they strive to provide the best possible care with respect.

Staff and administrators at this place are unbelievably rude and unkind. Beyond unpleasant experiences with them personally, I saw them disrespect clients in person and over the phone. This is not a place that treats people with dignity. The social services director was unpleasant and unkind. My family will never return to this place.
