No matter your story, we welcome you to join us as we all try to be a little bit better, a little bit kinder, a little more helpful—because that’s what Jesus taught. We are a diverse community of followers of Jesus Christ and welcome all to worship here. We fellowship together as well as offer youth and children’s programs.
Jesus Christ can make you a better person. You can make us a better community. Come worship with us. Church services are held every Sunday. Visitors are always welcome.
I have been to a couple wards and they have always been great. The third ward is pretty good. I really like the Singletons, Barkers, Turners and brother Bigler among many others. Overall the Church is always a 5/5 except for a couple people I'm mentioning in hopes that there will be changes and prevent others from being hurt.
The bishop Mr. Wolf is great in his service and it must be more difficult than I could imagine in that calling. That said, he often can be two faced making inside jokes behind the back of members at their expense in repeated desperate attempts to appear young and hip to impress the sister missionaries. I have spoken to another that had this same experience with him. As the bishop why not support all your church members? I suspect he shares confessed sins with his wife as the way she treated me as if I was beneath her immediately following a confession.
His Wife is nice to your face but she can catch you off guard being condescending at unexpected times. For example we were helping a family and someone accidently called her by a younger brethren's last name. She made a very dramatic and animated disgusted face, shaking her head like "no way he's gross" trying to humiliate him in front of everyone. She's over 50years old!! Who does she think she is?
Brother Hatch baptized an obese woman and could not resist the urge to mock her weight in front of everyone by making a dramatic straining face like he was struggling to lift her out of the water. His wife was laughing loud in pure enjoyment as always at his inappropriate jokes. Of all times, why would you do this to someone on a their baptism day? This was done without shame. Guess what happened afterwards? She never came back.
I know no one is perfect but when these saints intentionally step on others to elevate themselves. They just comes across as the type that believe as long as they check all the boxes they will be going to the celestial kingdom and continue to treat others as less than. We need to become a Zion people.
In reference to them "Alma 5:30-31 And again I say unto you, is there one among you that doth make a mock of his brother, or that heapeth upon him persecutions? Wo unto such an one, for he is not prepared, and the time is at hand that he must repent or he cannot be saved!" and "Alma 5:54 Yea, will ye persist in supposing that ye are better one than another;".
Hopefully soon they realize all are alike unto God, they are not better than anyone else and begin to show empathy towards others having challenges.
I plan to remove this review after a little bit as I don't believe any of these things should be held against those if they have decided to begin trying to be better in these areas, repenting and serving God.
