The people who live there are always happy, laughing and being taken care of by the wonderful staff! If ever my mother needed a place to stay, this would be her home!

When we went to visit and check the facility out Maggie Amick, Sales Manager, was super nice and made my dad feel very comfortable. It did not take us long to decide that this was the place for him. Everyone was very helpful with his move-in from Maggie presenting him with a welcome basket that had a few of his favorites in it, to Keith Knighting, the Maintenance Manager, helping to install the wall bracket for my dad's t.v.! This type of helpfulness and caring goes on everyday at Brookdale Harrisonburg. I always feel like family when I go to visit. Jennifer McNamara, the Executive Director, is always available to talk if I have questions. Garner Byram, the Business Office Coordinator, is a great person and very helpful if I don't understand the monthly invoices. Jennifer Dove, the Health and Wellness Director, is a great head nurse. She is super friendly and always easy to talk with when it comes to my dad's medical needs. It's impossible to mention all of the staff and all of the great things they do to make Brookdale Harrisonburg "home" for my dad. It's wonderful to have the peace of mind knowing that my dad is living in a safe and caring facility and he loves it!
