- MDMike DingellJan 24, 20211.0My mother went to The Virginian after surgery to rehab. Simply put... avoid The Virginian. The experience, from beginning to end, was atrocious. Communication with the staff was difficult and they couldn’t care less about patients and caregiving. I came to visit my mom and she had slipped out of her bed and had been lying on the floor for 30 minutes with the door wide open for all to see. If I could give The Virginian and their staff negative stars, I would.
