I can’t say enough good things about Goddard. Ms. Saraiah, Ms. Valerie, and the management team have been incredible with communication, always keeping me informed and making sure I feel connected to my child’s day. They’ve shown such patience and care as he adjusted to joining a new school, helping him feel comfortable and excited to come each morning.
The learning environment is fun, engaging, and enriching. I can tell he’s not only having a great time, but also growing and learning so much. Most importantly, I know he’s safe, supported, and cared for here.

We absolutely LOVE Goddard for our son. He started there about 4 months ago and he has already learned so much. He is making friends in his class, and he doesn't want to leave at the end of the day. We love that the school is clean, secure and safe. The teachers and front office staff are incredibly friendly, and we love the updates via the app throughout the day. Would recommend to any of our friends!

We love our Goddard school. This was our first child and ofcourse we wanted to find a school that prioritizes safety, cleanliness and encourage a fun learning atmosphere. Ms. Michelle, Ms. Davon, Ms KeyKey have gone above and beyond not only for my baby, but I've observed them do the same for every child in their care. In addition, the administrators are very welcoming and thorough with communicating all aspects of what's going on at school daily. This is the Best School in Alexandria and I feel confident that every family that tours this location will know it by the atmosphere upon visiting. Thank you to everyone in the Goddard Alexandria village. We are forever grateful for the work you do.

What is a typical day at The Goddard School like?
In each classroom, we provide hands-on, playful, child-centered learning experiences that vary based on the children’s levels of development. Teachers help children grow into happy, healthy, intelligent little humans who are ready to take on the world around them.
For infants, we follow the care schedule set by your family and utilize personal care moments to connect with and expand your little one’s individual development. Our teachers also incorporate songs, finger play, books and sensory and physical exploration each day.
Our busy toddlers flex their independence as they learn to walk, talk and safely explore the world around them. Their curiosity and interests drive the classroom structure.
In our preschool and pre-k classrooms, we add more school preparation and readiness by focusing on academic skills as well as interpersonal and collaboration skills. Teachers support children as they investigate the world around them. Children learn how to ask and answer questions, work with others, navigate social situations and understand and communicate their own thoughts and feelings.
Our teachers expertly create supportive classrooms for all children to safely learn and test new social, academic and physical skills throughout a typical routine that includes morning and afternoon snack time, lunch, naptime, exploration time, small and large group experiences and outdoor play.
