- RGRic GibsonMay 30, 20195.0Very welcoming people, classes for God's children of each age, and caring people who are kind and helpful, in my experience. Alot like a family. Church consists of 2-hour church blocks, composed of two separate meetings focused upon Jesus Christ and His Gospel: 1. Sacrament meeting (where there are typically a mix of hymns, prayers, talks, special musical numbers, testimonies and spiritual experiences shared, and always the sacramental bread and water blessed and passed). The foundation of all tales and activities are Jesus Christ and His Gospel. 2. Classes. The are classes for children, young adults, and adults. On first and third Sundays, classes are separated by gender for more tailored instruction and discussion. On second and fourth Sundays, Sunday School classes are organized to facilitate discussions focused on canonized scripture and what individuals learned during the previous weeks from their scripture study. 2019 scripture study is focused on the New Testament, specifically. All are welcome, and multiple activities organized throughout the year to build friendships, take care of one another, and learn about (and learn how to become more like) our Savior, Jesus Christ.
